Re: Emmanuel Forbes
The whole defense is terrible. The "vaunted" D-line is inconsistent at best, the LBs can't cover, can't tackle, or fill their gaps, the secondary is a sieve, and the communication is nonexistent. You expect a rookie to: 1. Come in and make an immediate difference? OR 2. Come in and be susceptible to the same bad coaching everyone else is getting?

Re: Emmanuel Forbes
Our DB coach is a guy who was coaching a small catholic school a few years ago with zero NFL experience. It’s clear Ron wanted to take care of his boys before getting fired.
I’m going easy on forbes right now. They all looked back. |

Re: Emmanuel Forbes
Forbes is still going to be good. I'm confident in that.

Re: Emmanuel Forbes
They gave the kid no safety help and he got eaten up.. he needs to get in the gym and workout in the off season if he wants to compete.

Re: Emmanuel Forbes
still early; I do agree he's had some bad plays that have hurt the team, but it's not like fuller hasn't had the same issue this year. Who exactly would we be benching him for?
A lot of what I've seen is more taking a chance on a ball (and ending up badly out of position to make a tackle) or biting on double moves (which most rookie dbs do). |

Also lone bright spot from last two weeks: I'm not concerned with Forbes yet. 5 games is way too early to give up on a rookie corner.
