My take - for what it is worth. For all practical purposes Howell is still a rookie - only 8 NFL starts - I am not counting preseason. Our OL can't block to get the running game going and is suspect on pass blocking. Some sacks are Howells fault for hanging on to the ball to long - he is waiting a receiver to get open. OC has him passing 30 to 40 times a game. To expect a someone with very NFL starts to carry a team under these circumstances is not realistic
