Re: Vegas Line- Skins at Philly

I would like to see us hit them hard in the first quarter scoring 10 to 14 point. If we can do that they will start to make some mistakes and we could captalize on them running up the score even more before half time. Making the second half ball control of heavy running and some short passes to manage the downs. I'm still nervous about the game but I feel Gibbs and the coaching staff are spending alot of time game planning and will not let this one slip away.

I agree; Gibbs will have the team ready. This game is way too important for the team to overlook. If we can pressure McMahon often, we should be able to shut down their passing game and focus on Moats, who can break big plays.

Not me, the only game's I missed all year was the first Giant game, and the last Cowboy game, but I was up in the air about the cowboy game, and yes I covered the point spreads as well. The Eagles will play us tough they are a very well coached team, but that won't be enough this go round, 27-13.

I saw that line yesterday. All of the recent lines have us pegged as a 7 point favorite. I can deal with that a lot more than the 4 points. I think Vegas is banking on Brunell playing as opposed to Ramsey.. Brunell is worth 3 extra points on the road.

Re: Vegas Line- Skins at Philly

As I told someone earlier, we should massacre this team. They are injured, beyond even the obvious injuries. They are starting a QB with a 2-11 record as a starter. They are without any viable weapons on offense.

But...

There are two things you should never do as a gambler. Never play cards with a guy named after a city, and never bet the first or last weeks of the season.

In the final week of the season, players with nothing to play for also have nothing to lose. They have the luxury of not playing next week, so they will play to a state where they don't have to be ready to play again in seven days. They want to go out as winners, regardless of their records. That desire makes this game very difficult to predict.

I think we should win handily, in a stadium that will lose interest (and probably consciousness) if we take an early lead. But I'm worried that this game could be very close.

Re: Vegas Line- Skins at Philly

Just when I start daydreaming about the playoffs I quickly remind myself the Eagles shouldn't be taken lightly.

They're a veteran team that still has a lot of pride. They're gonna give us a fight no doubt, but in the end they're just so decimated by injuries I find it hard to believe they can play with us for 4 quarters. This is a case of two teams headed in opposite directions. Usually we're on the other end of these matchups, anyone remember the 31-7 clobbering we took in the season closer in Spurrier's last season? Hopefully this game will be sweet revenge!

I always go to www.betus.com and then click on live odds to check the line. Here's a link for those of us that are to slow to type all that in...

We're still favored by 7 and you can take above 37 points or below 37 points. I'll say 24-14 Skins. Go with the over 37 points and the spread if you bet.

Former Redskin N.D. Kalu says he'd love to ruin our season:

"Nothing against them," defensive end N.D. Kalu said, "but misery loves company. We're not going to the playoffs, so we'd like to knock someone else out."
