Plus it's worth noting that Sam may never be great at dropping back and operating from the pocket efficiently on a consistent basis. He's good off schedule, but still has a ways to go from the pocket.

This is exactly how I feel about Caleb Williams. Everyone just looks at his wow plays which are spectacular. But that is not going to cut in in the NFL. He reminds me a lot of Zach Wilson and to a lesser extent Sam- except Sam is way more mentally tough and better cut out for the NFL.
