Keim reported on his podcast they were working Lattimore out this week but reporters didn't see him he was in a separate area not to their viewing

just let him sit the this week and next doubt we need him

I suspect that’s their plan - he plays in 3 weeks. If he can’t go after the bye, this was a much more serious injury than it seemed as he’d have about 2 months off at that point.

I'd be fine if he sits and makes his debut after the bye week. The Lattimore trade is both a short term and long term investment. He's on contract for two more years and is in his prime.

They wouldn't have traded for him if they thought his injury was going to keep him out of the majority of the games over the next couple years. I'm more interested in him being 100% next year, than having him for a playoff push we weren't even supposed to be making.

He's a great CB when healthy, but he's not going to be the difference between winning and not winning the Super Bowl this year. There's a lot more work to do with this roster.

I think this trade will end up being AP’s first biggest bust. I have no faith in him being healthy for us next year.

You trade for someone of that caliber during the season; you expect him to impact this season.

That hasn’t happened.

The fact we have still have won without him; shows you the trade was unnecessary during the season. It was a move we could have made in the offseason.

It doesn't look good so far, but it's still too early to deem this move as a waste one. Hopefully Lattimore will see that the other players (i.e., Christian Watson & Tee Higgins) are taking action to improve their hamstrings and follow their actions in the offseason.

Way too early to be negative on this trade. The first big test was Philly, and he did his job(take care of one side so rest of d could focus on the run). next one will be 1st round. I expect he will be big in the playoffs.

Exactly. We need to be patient. He clearly showed the skills and talent v. Philly. I still think some of the pis on him last week were bs. He's pretty shutdown when healthy.

He had a hammy when they traded for him....they knew he was a A+ talent but knew it would take time for him to recover from the injury......we still have him under contract regardless.....
