Because outside of that, Von Miller (or a similar veteran) is about the best they were going to be able to do. He will probably only play 15-20 snaps per game on 3rd downs. Not jacked up for the signing or anything, but I like it.

2024 PFF:

Overall Grade: 82.4
15th/211 Edge Rushers
32 pressures
6 sacks

He was only 91st in pass-rush snaps, but was 42nd in sacks (ESPN has him at 50th in total sacks). That's not bad production imo. Only Luvu had more sacks for us last year (outside of Fowler). No one else was in the top 50.

Note - Fowler only had a grade of 62.1 that was 100 out of 211. He also had 341 pass-rush snaps compared to 209 for Miller.
