 8 years ago today, ESPN decided to remove play-by-play announcer Robert Lee from calling a Virginia football game for fear people would confuse him with Confederate Civil War General Robert E. Lee. Some here may claim this isn’t true, but it was. We were living in the most retarded timeline just a short while ago.
