Re: Rose Bowl
How do you have the Heisman winner on the sideline with 4th and 2 for the game basically? Coaching lost this one.

Re: Rose Bowl
yeah young definitely has some legs on him, still unsure about his arm except on quick dumps, but I'm sorry if you take away that boneheaded lateral by bush this game isn't even close cuz that play seemed to absolutely destroy usc momentum in the first half even though they got back on track offensively in the second half.

WOW! What a freaking game. Vince Young tore the freaking crap out of that game, that was insane.

Re: Rose Bowl
I know after watching the first half I didn't expect the second half to be the polar opposite and result in an offensive explosion. and I don't know why but for me it reminded me of the skins last playoff game when the bucs seemed to have all of their own fumbles bounce back towards their players.

Re: Rose Bowl
nah i don't fault the playcall on fourth. bush was getting stuffed the entire game (longhorns D was focused on RB the entire month) and lendale was getting the 6 yard clips in the second half. i'm glad we went for it on fourth- it just didn't go our way.

No offense to the USC fans but I hate USC football! Texas is a beast. Bush is the next NFL #1 pick bust. BSB -- Goodluck with getting into Texas bro. Thanks to Texas getting rid of affirmative action and instead changing it so if you get a 3.0 in High School you're automatically given acceptance into any public Texas school (really not a bad idea IMO) It makes it very hard for out of staters. I applyed and didn't get in (no big suprise). However, my friend had a 3.8 at his college and even some extra curricular and he didn't get in. It's a tough school, but I'd kill to go there. I'm such a loser I'm considering moving to Austin after school, the town is awesome!

i can understand the feeling though... the best teams always get mad haterade. i remember miami used to be the dynasty everyone loved to hate. but i gotta say in our defense, we're not miami- we don't have thugs, and if someone messes up bad he gets kicked off the team immediately (eric wright). I love the way Pete Carrol has turned the program around. If you listen to the guys in their interviews, the players are having fun while learning to play the right way. Reggie and Matt went over to the texas locker room after the game to wish congratulations. Our boys are doing it the right way and they're getting the most out of their experience. What other school would have had a sure fire number one pick return for his senior season? |
