Just a question , first I agree .......worst job is the Browns and with that said . What do you guys think the chances are of Deion Sanders being the HC of the Browns?

Re: The annual NFL coaching carousel
Not impossible but unlikely. I can't see him walking away from the Buffs to the Browns, given the mess they're in and seems nobody else wants to go there. Maybe a year or 2 once the Watson fiasco is in the rear view and Shedeur is either established or gone. Browns will likely end up with a young coach with something to prove and little chance any failure looks bad on his CV. Or an older guy with nothing to lose. Carroll maybe?

Re: The annual NFL coaching carousel
Browns hiring Deon would be a joke.
Browns will either hire one of the candidates they are still interested in, that have games today or Jim Schwartz. Unless Sheddur blossoms; until Browns are completely free of Watson’s contract, they won’t move forward. Might as well give it to Schwartz. This season see of Sheddur or Dillon are the guys. Browns have 2 1’s . Build the rest of the team but use one of those 1’s to try to get more 2027 picks; so you will have the flexibility to get qb in 2027 draft if needed. |

Like I said his football playing is unquestioned but he is not well liked around the league , big mouth deva type. Has Coached HS and nowhere else.

Re: The annual NFL coaching carousel
He was a pretty cocky player but I saw it as just super competitive and intense. Will never forget when him and Jay Cutler got into it when they were younger. Rivers was jawing him from the sideline. He yapped a lot but also could back it up.

Re: The annual NFL coaching carousel
Monken reportedly hired as HC by the Browns. Honestly thought they'd be last to get a coach signed.

Re: The annual NFL coaching/gm carousel
Has anyone heard Kliff Kingsbury's name mentioned at all? I wonder if he just decided he wants more time away from the game?

I read that Ron Rivera may interview for the Cardinals job. Just. Wow.

Re: The annual NFL coaching/gm carousel
I recall he interviewed for OC jobs and head coach for Ravens (I believe), but that's about it. I'm kinda surprised by this. I thought at the worst, he would be one of the first coaches to be hired OC in the first wave.

He wasn’t as great of an OC that people make him out to be. As to head coach- Looks like Raiders are waiting for Seahawks OC Klint Kubiak. No clue if Cards waiting on someone from the Superbowl teams. |

I'm a little surprised there's been seemingly no Sean McDermott chatter. I mean, it's not like he was a disaster in Buffalo is it?
