They’re out. Pretty predictable. Basically last year’s throwbacks now in both burgundy and white, and new black alternates with the spear.

I’m ok with them - nothing terribly inventive here but better than what they’re replacing. Low bar to clear.

For our regular uniforms, we returned to our 80's style. For the alternative uniforms, I'm really glad they updated it as it now looks like the uniform belongs to Commanders instead of Steelers.

Alternatives are a definite improvement. I kinda liked the matte finish on the recent helmets. But these will do.

The black helmet wins hands down. Wish they had brought the speared W to the standard helmets (maybe a black spear)

Love the color schemes, the number font, and gold face mask too. Would prefer the alternate to be just a spear with no W but it looks much better.

For those that were hoping the block W would go away remember the team needs to submit trademark applications and by many accounts is not going to be the permanent logo.

That arrow going through the W just doesn't work visually.

The W is supposed to give a 3D perspective with each strip going in front of the previous one, but they have the arrow shaft going in front of the third strip but behind the second strip.

Just awful.

The arrow itself is not only generic but it is a flawed design like you said. But the uniform as a whole is awesome.

Does make you wonder why the lack of effort in detail though.

I mean, they are ok, but the truth is, our team just has a w on the helmet vs redskins most detailed icon profile in the NFL. So all they did is out a spear through it, which is good enough I guess, but I truly don't understand if the redskins are gone because we so offended native Americans, why are we putting a native American spear back on the helmet?
I mean I don't mind, but I was never offended, but it seems like on one hand we are not talking about native Americans but on some alternate Sundays we are back to representing them again? I mean...it this just a test drive to see if people freak out again? I mean I think Tuddy is awesome and all, but there is nothing/no one as respected as a native American chief in all his glory.

Playing halfway is what they are doing, it must be a transition of identity or something
I thought if they went warriors or commanders, we'd change to cammo and put a jet fighter or tank on our helmets and have a whole section of armed forces in uniform for free at every game and honor military at the half or something.

If commanders really "means" redskins, without "saying" redskins, I guess I get it, but then let's get rid of Tuddy and replace him with something related to the spear, not a dumbass pig with a military helmet. I mean how could you say redskins in another way? I have always been a warriors fan for that reason, plus you keep the w, which I actually have gotten used to.

Another point, it is the chiefs who play in arrowhead stadium, yet the arrowhead is on our helmet. I know I know, the 60s we had em. But we also had really cool gold helmets with the R based on Green Bay.

On a positive, the uniforms are fine, like the helmet triple stripe and gold cage.
My issue is the lack of team identity, what the hell is a commander?
Ask a 5 year old to draw a picture....they will draw Tuddy, arg
