Any time in the 4th he could have told both of them to adjust, and in Jones' case, exactly what adjustments he wanted to see. No indication he did. And then he could have been clear with JD to stop the clock no matter what, even if it meant countermanding Blough. I still think, beyond something more embarrassing, he won't be gone before seasons end. But the only way he saves his job now has to be reaching teh playoffs. Even a winning record won't cut it if it doesn't mean playoffs.

Hiring two first time coordinators coming off a bad season made no sense. Jones defense absolutely sucks. Blough has been better.but the colossal fuck up plus his inability to max protect makes me wonder.

That's not much of a statement, it's kind of the unwritten rule of the NFL. When was the last time an incoming HC retained any of the previous coaching staff, possibly excepting an internal promotion?

Joe Brady is the only recent promotion I can remember and he cleared house.

It's maybe not clear to any of them they're working the rest of the season to keep their jobs Or at least have something on their CV for their next employer to consider. They all need pull their socks up and AP should be looking over his shoulder too.
