But Coleman was awful last night (again), as was Paul (and Coleman had beaten Paul out for LG during camp). We have no functioning left side of the line. Conerly had a bad game although he's generally been decent this season, and Cosmi is obviously good. I worry that it is just a matter of time before JD5 goes down again behind this horrid O line -- his blind side protectors are just so bad.
I wouldn't mind seeing a play for Brian Thomas (on a prove it deal -- he's been benched, after all, so no need to go nuts here) as well. This division can be won, even now, but they need some help (not to mention, far better coaching).
After the bye, they play the Eagles -- absolutely winnable game. Then the Rams (who may be really desperate by then), Giants (winnable), Bengals (likely loss), Cards (winnable), Titans (winnable), Texans (winnable), Falcons (winnable), Vikings (likely loss), Jax (likely loss), and Dallas (winnable). To be clear, they could lose every one of these if they don't get their act together over the bye. But I could see getting 7 wins and finishing 8-8-1 (which might even win this putrid division). They have to win their remaining divisional games though having now lost to Dallas and Philly and tied the Gmen.

It is possible that the FO did reach out to Decker but he isn't interested, after all, even he knows that he would be a band aid solution for us.
Agree with you on other points. In addition, McLaurin has a torn patellar tendon and is out for the season. At this point, it doesn't look good for his future, unfortunately (he's definitely a great Redskins/Commanders player). Give Jags a call to see how much it would cost us to get BTJ.
