I don't deny he has regressed in terms of reads and making careless errors. Two of which may have cost us two wins. But there are very few QBs that can do what he can do and it is next to impossible to win a Super Bowl without a QB playing at an elite level.
Of course we’ll pay him. Imagine a guy like him hitting the open market, do we really think there wouldn’t be multiple teams lining up to pay him?

He’s still young and learning and already playing at a pretty high level. Zero questions about his character. You absolutely pay him.

I believe this has a lot to do with Blough and the current game planning system, instead of JD himself. JD did not have those issues with Kliff.

There’s always some growing pains in a new offense, that said his QBR puts him in the top third of the league.

There is definitely some confusion with the new system but some of the errors have nothing to do with that. Running a play and taking a sack to end the game against the Giants for example, that's on him and not the offensive play calling. Throwing it into stands on 4th down against SF. That's on him and not the offensive play calling.

If they let him walk that would have to be a fireable offense. To me you start the processes this offseason so you don't even worry about the 5th year option.

I really don't want to go back to signing journey men and hoping to hit on draft picks again. Look at the list of QBs we've had after Cousins, who is a serviceable QB but not one to get you to the SB, until JD it is excruciatingly bad,

Cant imagine it going any other way for us lol.

Sad but true. We've always been teams "get right game" as long as I can remember with pnly a few and dar between NOT being that way.

Tanner McKee has no business starting games in this league

JD is undeniably the most talented QB we’ve seen in a Washington uniform in our lifetimes and some people will genuinely waver on whether we should keep him around long term smh

Re: W8 Gameday Thread- Eagles rematch

I was fortunate enough to attend the game. Glad we won and the environment was great. I can personally attest our fanbase has a strong disdain for the Eagles. A lot of chatter the entire time especially after the W.

Odd how Jayden got off to a slow start. He was missing open guys. If he's ever going to be elite, he needs to be more accurate the entire game for all passes. Love the kid and his running ability. Chig's catch was sick. Seriously my fav play of the year. Chaisson balled out.

Rams game will be a true barometer of this team with the Eagles' offense really bad. Rams game will be tough but you never know. Game experience was a blast. Victory sure helped.

Hail!

Very off the beaten path tho, normally we'd make em look like the second coming of drew Brees out there lol
