Around the NFL Week 9

Season is already going by fast. Ravens set to acquire Jacoby Brissett with the injuries to Jackson and Huntley. They host the Jags tomorrow night who are favored by 10 and may be the most overlooked team in the league.

Uh Jaguars may be no joke. Largest point differential in NFL currently by a wide margin. Always thought they don't get enough attention due to being a low market team. Dominated Ravens last night with their injured qbs.

Jaguars don't have any injured QB's?...

I'd suggest the Jags get overlooked more because they've suffered with average to poor QB play for years. this is the first year I would say that Lawrence has properly looked like a playoff capable QB. Possibly even franchise QB. Reportedly he's been coached up on things like looking off receivers, which begs the question how he was coached for the previous 5 years of his career?

Re: Around the NFL Week 9

We basically at the midpoint. Everyone will have played 8 games after this weekend and many already have played 9.

AFC East: Only Bills and Pats are playoff contenders.

AFC North: A 3 way battle between Steelers, Bengals and Browns. Ravens are 4/5, I don’t see Jacoby Brissett keeping them in contention.

AFC South: Jags have this. Texans are 2-5, I don’t see them coming back.

AFC West: Chiefs and Broncos are battling. Raiders are 4-4, doubtful they contend for a spot but the may hover around .500.

NFC West: 49ers likely to win division. .500 Seahawks and Rams fighting for wild card spots.

NFC South: Panthers, Bucs and Falcons have 3 wins. Bucs seems like likely winner.

NFC North: Vikings and Bears have 6 wins and the other two have 5. This division could send all 4 teams to playoffs.

NFC East: Giants have 4 wins. Boys have 3. We have 2 wins. Giants are favorites. Boys are too inconsistent. For us, we have go in a winning streak and that includes beating the Giants.

Right now, I think the nfc is heading for Bears- 49ers championship game and in the afc a Bills- Jags championship game. I can see a Bears-Jags Super Bowl and Caleb being the first of the 24 class to win a title.

Only the nfc east and south is where a downtrodden team have a shot at playoffs by winning a weak division. The downtrodden teams have no shot in the other 6 divisions.
