Re: Merged: The Movies Thread
Watched Heart of the Beast recently. Really good. About a military person who fights for survival in Alaska with his dog. Not a true story as a disclaimer. Scenes of Alaska were top notch and Pitt was money in this movie.

Re: Merged: The Movies Thread
Watched Gangs of New York recently. Long movie but really good. It is based off NYC gangs in the 19th century near the Civil War. Cast is amazing including Leo, Cameron Diaz, and Daniel Day-Lewis. A lot of powerful scenes and Scorcese makes you feel like are right there.
7.5/10

Re: Merged: The Movies Thread
I watched Godzilla Minus 0. I liked it and was surprised by how it started and the flow of the movie. That said I must have blinked at the wrong time as I'm not sure exactly what happened to King Ghidora at the end.

Re: Merged: The Movies Thread
I saw “Jimmy” today. It’s a biopic about actor Jimmy Stewart’s time serving in WW2 and shows the PTSD he was suffering while making, It’s a Wonderful Life. Great pic. 8/10.
