The Less We Do, The Better Off We Are
Remember the last time we made the playoff back in 1999, Instead of making just a couple moves to improve the roster we went out in got D.Sanders, M.Carrier, B.Smith and so on. Now just from this playoff run we just need a few players like a #2 WR, DE, CB and O-line depth. Maybe just one big name but nothing to mess team chemistry. We don't need R.Wayne because of the money he wants plus he has stated he wants to be an #1 WR. Someone like E.Moulds would this team better. But we have Gibbs this time so I put my trust in him.

I agree, no drastic measures are needed. A decent WR, a blocking TE, some depth at OL and another year of great coaching and we'll be a force. |

Good post--I agree, though, that Gibbs won't mess with the chemistry.

I agree, the less we do, the better. We have a core group here, and that doesn't need to be messed with

For the past couple of seasons the pats, Eagles (except T.O. ), Steelers, Colts have kept the same together for a few seasons. Meaning that if you brought alot players, It takes a while to adjust. Keep the same core with a few additions, The players knows what to expect. Thats the main thing that hurt us for years. New players, new coaches and there we never played like a team. With the coaching staff we have and keeping the same players, Good things can happen.

You're right, and I think if Mr. Snyder learned anything at all, he learned from that mistake and is not doomed to repeat it. Plus, there's a whole new team in charge now and I think we will follow a course simular to last offseason. He was relatively new to the game then, and thought the additions he made were going to make us better but they proved to be counterproductive. |

Re: The Less We Do, The Better Off We Are
I think thats why some reporters think we will go after T.O. because Synder spent money on big time free agents like T.O. in the past. I'm not saying Synder hasn't spent a few bucks or over paid on some free agents recently. What I'm saying his Synder won't dish out big bucks just to get a high profile player regardless of age, attitude and so on. Because Gibbs will not put up with that. But whenever a high profile player is a free agent they will always put the Redskins name in it because of Synder's past.
