Re: Celebrity Face Recognition

You know, at least, before, I had no clue what anybody looked like. Now, I'm just confused...

Got a pic in another thread, she's a cutie with large "bre-assets" as someone here put it. I'll think on it.

There ya go.

That's a good idea for a thread. Or just in general, it would be cool to see what people REALLY look like anyway.

Re: Celebrity Face Recognition

Suffice it to say that this thing does NOT work! I put a picture of Chuck Norris and here were my results:

1) George Peppard
2) Maurice Gibb
3) Shahrukh Khan
4) Dennis Quaid
5) Paul Dirac
6) Tim Allen
7) Alfred Hitchcock (WTF?!?!?)
8) Gary Oldman
9) Karl Popper
10) Albert Schweitzer

Thanks Schneed. Now I'm blind. You KNOW no one can handle seeing Chuck in all his glory.

Re: Celebrity Face Recognition

i put my face in and it said it doesn't match any results, so i guess there aren't any celebrities who look as devilishly handsome as i do.

Then i put a picture of Chris Simms in and it said he looked like Sam Neill.

I also put in a picture of Bill Parcells and it said he looked like William Randolph Hearst lolol.

I put in a picture of Lavar and it said he looked like Billy Bob Thornton lololol.

I think its just a random number generator hooked up to a picture database...

there is no actual computing, just a rabid monkey violently throwing switches.

lol - you're probably right. There doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to the results.

Re: Celebrity Face Recognition

We noticed that if you put in a picture of where like part of your ear is cropped, they find pictures of people whose ears are cropped.

Are we referring to ourselves in the plural now, Malcolm?

Malcolm, I saw a picture of your lovely lady in this thread, and I can certainly certify that you aren't gay. But if you keep referring to your better half as fiance and not fiancee, you might begin to confuse people! lololol

You gotta love the French and their masculine/feminine noun tenses! LOL
