Re: What's Up With The WR Position?

My childhood was quite typical. Summers in Rangoon. Luge lessons. When I was insolent, I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten.

There were two versions of Electric Football. One was called "Electric Football" and had, I think, generic yellow or blue players. The other was a licensed NFL version which generally came with the previous two Super Bowl teams. I believe the year I got the game these were Pittsburgh and Los Angeles. I then mail ordered the Redskins and Cowboys. I could never pass very well and certain players would just circle insanely. Then I lost all the little foam footballs. I think I got Intellivision the next year or so after that, which of course was the state of the art in video game sports at the time. I think my big play was 9727 or something like that. It was a sort of sprint option right.

Another good football game I got in about 1977 was called "Foto-football". It's too hard to explain what it was, but it really helped me understand the rules of football as a six or seven year old.
