What happens if a team doesn't comply with the salary cap?
No team has ever gone over the salary cap, so this is a bit of an unknown. Could Commissioner Paul Tagliabue penalize a team by taking away draft picks? Or could there be fines? With some teams in dire cap shape, we could find out sooner rather than later. The Washington Redskins are one team to watch in this regard, since some other clubs which have studied the Redskins' cap closely have suggested Washington cannot mathematically get into compliance.

I just love Daniel Snyder. He does everything he can to help this team win. I don't understand how anyone can not like this man... If crippling the cap, and possibly the draft helps Washington win, they'll be Superbowl champions next season.
