CHARACTER AND CHEMISTRY matters big with Gibbs
We have heard this from day one of Joe being back in town. This is something I also believe that has not always been here with the Redskins in the 90's and early 00's!!! I know we are trying to keep new threads on the news of the CBA and players doing thier part to make this turn out well for the REDSKINS but I wanted you all to read this! There is alot in the piece by Casey Hubband and look at it and you will see what Gibbs is building!!!
The one thing that Burnell said is the kind of player and locker room that all teams strive for. "Nowadays, with free agency,it's not easy to keep a team together. But that's what we need to do-Keep our core guys. I've never been on a team with as much character and chemistry" said the QB of the Waskington Redskins Mark Burnell. Who was it that said lead by example. Words to live by and Joe Gibbs dose! With the media, other teams and even some of our own counting us out we just might have them all were we wanted them!!!! |

Re: CHARACTER AND CHEMISTRY matter big with Gibbs
Good point.. I wish the national media would put down their Haterade for the Redskins and just mention that a lot of the players have stepped up to ease the cap issues the team has and mention their comments of the importance of staying together..

Re: CHARACTER AND CHEMISTRY matter big with Gibbs
I'd like to know the parameters of the deals before saying the players took one for the team and are character guys. But, I'm happy with them nonetheless.
