WR and DE draftees are notoriously bad at being useful early on.

That's assuming we would have picked a WR or DE with the 3rd round pick. Cornerbacks and offensive line help are also on the needs list. My contention is that there might have been a wideout that we could have acquired through free agency close to Lloyd's ability that wouldn't have costed us draft picks.
