Cromartie has strong showing at Pro Day

NCAA | Cromartie has strong showing at Pro Day

Jim Lamar, of the Palm Beach Post, reports Florida State CB Antonio Cromartie dazzled NFL scouts at his Pro Day workout Thursday, March 16. Cromartie, who did not play during his junior season because of a knee injury, ran times of 4.36 and 4.41 seconds in the 40-yard dash. Cromartie also turned in a 42-inch vertical jump. At least four NFL head coaches attended the session — Tom Coughlin (Giants), Romeo Crennel (Browns), Lovie Smith (Bears) and Scott Linehan (Rams).

this is the guy that came out after barely playing and may still go in the first round.

This guy is a stud. If he is available in the top of the 2nd we she try to trade up to get him. He would make an excellent nickle back until Springs is ready to retire then he could move right into the starting line-up to give us a great tandem w/Rogers.

he's a first rounder and we have nothing to trade up with. there willbe first round corners next year, so trading next year's 1st and 2nd with this year's 2nd to move up would be a huge waste. You could ask to move up for D'Brick, for davis, etc etc... there'll be more good players next year.

he's just another player we won't have a shot at.
