Sounds good enough to me. Jones tends to enjoy being around cameras and getting media exposure.

JJ was in Mexico the other day, but he should be back in Dallas by now.

Re: Sources Tell Hooskins Owens Will Sign With Dallas

profootballtalk, which had intially denied the deal has changed it position
---
LEAGUE INSIDERS BELIEVE OWENS DEAL IS DONE

We've confirmed through our own network of sources that there is a very strong belief in league circles that the Dallas Cowboys do indeed have an agreement in place with receiver Terrell Owens, who was cut by the Eagles on Tuesday.

We're also hearing that the Eagles are unlikely to make a fuss about the obvious likelihood that an agreement in principle was reached long before Owens hit the open market. After all, they allowed him permission to talk to other teams regarding a trade. It would be, as a practical matter, impossible to prove that the conversations transformed at some point into negotiations toward a contract after Owens was ultimately released.

The Eagles also might not want to start throwing around the "T" word in light of multiple reports that they had a deal in place with former Saints center LeCharles Bentley prior to the start of free agency. Bentley later jilted the Eagles and signed with the Browns.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys deny that a deal has been reached, as does Owens' agent, Drew Rosenhaus, who told FOX's Jay Glazer Thursday night that the reports are erroneous.

Haha yeah it was first "TO is a Cowboy", but then they changed it to "unoffically". I like called the news station in texas, got a bunch of other sources, so they were like fine, you can have some credit lol.

Man its a done deal apperently...... i just hope it doesn't bite us in the Ass, as I look at it this is his last chance to play in the NFL and colect so I hope he gets it.....

And yeah like 1 of you said fans tend to forget if TO comes to dallas and scores 15 tds like he did in Philly no body would remmember his offense to the star, hey a lot of fans don't remmember or don't care now sicne we're split 50 - 50 on should he or should he be a cowboy.

..... Changing subject I hear a lot of comments about Archuleta his a good player my question is don't you agree you overpay him I mean making him the highest paid safety in the league is a bit much. That's the only thing for me he isn't even close to Reed, Roy, Taylor, Dawkins, Brown, Polamalu, Wilson, Sanders league this will hurth future contracts.

Wooo, hold on and wait a Menudo. Hey don't try to sneak in here and change the TO/cowboys enjoyment. Let me brush off what you said because it's GONNA hurt us (like in the FUTURE, like we all know it was gonna hurt us every year).

But going back to TO/Cowboys, damn that was a match made in H E L L. To understate it a little, it will be interesting to see what kind of relationship he and Parcells will have, especially with the "little" blowup that happened last year (?) with Antonio Bryant. Bryant's behavior that was reported wasn't close to being half as bad as Owens... can't wait for the drama. I don't see Owens changing his behavior one bit and I don't see Parcells being able to put up with that behavior. Let's see who bends first, if they even do.

D'Boyz, here is why Archuleta is a great value for the Skins and why TO is a disaster for Dallas (at any price): Archuleta improves his team and TO will hurt his.

Archuleta is part of the reason why the Skins will improve their record over 2K6 and TO is a big part of the reason why Dallas will have a worse record.

Leopards don't change their spots. BTW, at 33, the overwhelming probability is that TOs best games and seasons are in the past.

Thas some funny shit

The bryant thing was 2 years ago and I guess TO and Parcell have sit down and talk a lot (not that it matters hey is TO) again We all don't know what's going to be the result of this we all are at limbo.

Hey a lot of TO teamates in philly wanted him back so I really don't know ..... Im just holding my breath.

But with the Archuleta thing I'm sorry he isn't in the same league as the guys a mentione before if he where he still be a Ram you don't let your star players hit FA

i think TO will help you fags in the short term. And he will be the final straw that helps The Tuna retire next year after you don't make the playoffs. maybe we will let you have one of our assistants as your head coach in 2007. I'll think about it.

Or in your mind his the best Safety out there in the whole NFL. I don't think so

I never said he was the best anything. I will even stipulate that TO is one of the best receivers and Arch is not anywhere close to being in TO's class as a player. However, Arch is a better value because of the impact on the team.
