if anything im pumped about, im pumped about the fact that we arent hiring old players past their prime, were hiring people just about to peak.

its much easier on the cap too. not as cheap as drafting, but its a bit safer.

even in the first 3 years, they count 3mill a year. a 2nd round draft pick gives you 4 years at under 1mill per.

I hope good things happen to Brown. He probably needs the NFL more than anybody in the league right now. He has lots of motivation to make this thing work.

His life situation is bigger than football. I hope he gets a roster slot somewhere in the NFL.
