Agent Drew Rosenhaus said free agent WR Terrell Owens (Eagles) had interest from many teams before he signed with the Dallas Cowboys. He said the Cowboys and Owens were a "perfect fit."

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones announced the team has signed free agent WR Terrell Owens (Eagles) to a three-year contract. Financial terms were not disclosed.
