Baseball Opening Day vs. NFL Draft
I can't confirm this, but a caller to the Colin Cowherd show on ESPN Radio yesterday said that a poll done by ESPN said more people are actually interested in the NFL Draft than opening day of baseball.
Not sure if it's true, but it wouldn't surprise me. It could more evidence of the decline of baseball and the dominance of the NFL. |

Re: Baseball Opening Day vs. NFL Draft
I wouldn't be surprised at all.
Opening day in baseball came and went pretty quietly, if you weren't paying attention you could have easily missed it. The NFL Draft has turned into the offseason's version of the Super Bowl. |

Re: Baseball Opening Day vs. NFL Draft
I'm one of the people who missed it, BUT there are over 150 baseball games and only 1 draft. Not to mention the vast difference in popularity... espn probably wouldn't exist without football.
