I think if we do draft a OLB with our second we may be targeting Thomas Howard, I also think Jon Alston out of Stanford is another candidate, Williams likes speed guys on the outside and both these guys can burn, I am not all that impressed with Jackson, Mcintosh, etc.

okay, his stats might not be the greatest but for any of you that watch college ball, i was at the WVU Lousiville game, (when the mountaineers overcame a 17 point defecit in the third to win in triple over time) i can tell you that although his stats dont show it, he plays a lot bigger and faster than he is, he got some good licks on Pat White and Steve Slaton, some of the fastest guys in college ball, he would be a good addition not right off the bat, but after a year or two could devolop very nicely

I would love to take him, some people just are great football players. I think he is one of them.

I wouldn't mind trying to get Chris Gocong (Cal Poly) with one of our later picks. He played as a DE, but really has the size and athleticism of an outside linebacker. I was watching him at the combines and he seems very intelligent and has quick feet. I think he would give good special teams production right away and could develop into a good OLB, perhaps specialized as a pass rusher initially. His intelligence and athleticism should make him very coachable. In addition, he had great production at Cal Poly, although playing against teams at a lower level.

gocong is a great mid round project guy... I think he'll be gone by the end of the 4th round though (bengals really like him, among others). he's risen his stock enough (through workouts and drills) to get out of our reach :/ still a chance he falls though, but i'd be mildly surprised.
