My only concern with getting Portis is look at Terrell Davis, Olandis Gary, Mike Anderson, Quentin Griffin. Any time one of those is the primary back in Denver they do well. So is it the runner or is the system? That being said, if Portis is just 80% as good here in DC as in Denver that's still better than anything we have. And it's better than most of the league. So yeah I'd make the deal. What's DC without a Clinton?

Anyone hear the rumor that has us sending Champ to the Jets for their 1st and 2nd, then sending our 1st and their second to Denver for Portis? And what do you all think of a Champ for Shaun Alexander swap?

It's good to be back on the warpath!
