While I do think LaVar talks too much, he probably had his reasons. What get's me is that all of a sudden (and there are some who will argue that he's been such all along) he's a freelancer that's usually out of position and that can't pick-up defenses. I'm sorry, I just don't buy it. If you want to talk out of position, see Warrick Holdman. But then again, he's not getting paid millions either. I guess I'm rambling on a bit, but the point I was really trying to make is, I tend to agree with you. Under similiar circumstances, who wouldn't be a little pissed and hurt for that matter. I also find it interesting that Marvin Lewis was quoted as saying LaVar, and I'm paraphrasing, would sometimes be out of position or something to that effect. Yet he's one of the one's that inquired about Mr. Arrington's services. |

Re: Arrington Video on ESPN.com
Remember when Offiss and I got crucified for criticizing Lavar long before he left the Redskins, when he got that overpowered contract. That was funny.

Re: Arrington Video on ESPN.com
Lavar is only about himself. If he was about winning and the team he would have shut up and became part of the program. His way didn't work for five years. He tries to play this poor Lavar act but he got paid millions to be a sometimes good linebacker with unlimited potential which he occasionally put out on the field.

Re: Arrington Video on ESPN.com
Arrington's cowardly words are meaningless and worthless, but in a way I'm grateful to hear them. It just underscores what a remarkably improved football team we will be this year, just to have him off our team. And as luck would have it - on the roster of a key rival. Life's good.
