Re: Sopranos

They should have whacked the show a long time ago. HBO has fallen quite a bit IMO. About the only thing that kept my interest was Real Time with Bill Maher and even that wasn't enough for me to give HBO the boot. The Daily Show seems to fill in nicely for it.

Yea Rome was lame. I think Bill Mayer is funny sometimes, but I don't go out of my way to see it. I don't think I've seen it in months.
I can't wait for Deadwood to come back on, its so good.

Re: Sopranos

I watched the first few seasons of The Sopranos but it's jumped the shark for me.

Can't believe it's still going, is this the last season??

I love Bill Maher's show. He's hilarious. Even though I disagree with him on practically every issue (save for the war in Iraq and the incompetent buffoonery of the Bush Administration), I DVR each episode. Now I only wished I'd seen all of those "Politically Incorrect" episodes he did for Comedy Central and ABC. Can't believe those were on every single night. Now, he only does one show a week, and takes half the year off.

Do you think his old episodes will ever be released on DVD?

Thats exactly what I'm thinking. I think its gonna be Phil Leotardo. Since Vito was married to Phils cousin....Phil's got the inside info on how to find him.

Re: Sopranos

I think the only series i ever watched on HBO was Curb Your Enthusiasm. It was okay, but not something i liked to watch every time it comes on.

[possible spoiler]

after last night's episode, they should just rename sopranos to "queer eye for the made guy." wtf?!

Re: Sopranos

It looks like the slow pace and man-love themes have all led up to a full out war coming up! Hopefully, now the show picks up...
