Re: Rod Gardner

I wish we still had Taylor Jacobs! Greatest practice player ever, according to Champ Bailey.

To Gardners credit when he was here he was a team player his problems where his performance on the field and which palyer was going to play that day. The Gardner that could make the toughest catch in football or the Gardner who droped the 7 yard dump off that hits him in the numbers. He played hard he just forgot too often that he had to catch the ball first. If Greenbay dumps him I still think another team will take a chance on him for vet min.

You can't compare Rod Gardner to Desmond Howard: 1997 SuperBowl MVP.

Plus Desmond's Heismann pose in the endzone is much more memoriable than Rod's first down point thing, even it was in college.

Re: Rod Gardner

desmond never lived up to his billing, but he did have a decent career in GB as a special teamer or whatnot... and he got a ring.

Re: Rod Gardner

Rod Gardner delivered a pizza to my house last night. He dropped my money as soon as I passed it to him.
