Week four of the brutal Strahan vs. Strahan divorce kicks off today with both sides warily guarding their playbooks.

"After saying one tiny word that took on a life of its own last week, I think I'll [decline comment]," Jean Strahan, the estranged wife of New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan, told the Daily News from her stately 12-bedroom mansion in Montclair, N.J.

It was last Tuesday when she caused a blitz of headlines by telling reporters that her superstar-sacking husband was leading an "alternative" lifestyle with handsome TV doctor Ian Smith.

She later back-pedaled on the explosive comment, saying she didn't mean to imply that the father of her twin 19-month-old girls was gay.

"I guess I said a word that has a few too many meanings," said Jean Strahan, 41. "I really meant to imply that he wasn't having a lifestyle with me and the babies. ... I feel really bad."
