Fellow Redskins Fan does good in NASCAR

Redskins Fan and Joe Gibbs rookie driver Denny Hamlin smoked them at Pokono again yesterday to sweep that track this season. He's the ONLY rookie in the NASCAR Chase for the Championship too.

If you didn't know about this kid then know this first...he's a BIG Redskins fan and he races for Joe Gibbs and Fed/Ex our Stadium sponsor. He's an all around good kid who has worked his butt off to get where he is and he still humble about.

On the final lap with him way ahead of even the 2nd place car his crew chief asked him how it felt becoming a champions. His words were...

"I can't believe I'm driving in the NEXTEL Cup Series." - Denny Hamlin

Go Denny!! Go!!! And Hail Skins!!!!
peace

Yes, Denny was very dominant yesterday and has a bright future. Of course anyone that has the fortune to drive for the Gibbs Racing Team has a bright future because they don't employ scrubbs.

Remember this name:

"Sixteen-year-old rookie Marc Davis, part of the Joe Gibbs Racing diversity program, earned his fourth career win in the Limited Late Model racing division. Davis returned to the track Sunday night to compete in the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Late Model division and finished second to fellow Drive for Diversity driver Jesus Hernandez, who captured his first victory as part of the MB2 Motorsports diversity program.

"Marc continues to impress," said J.D. Gibbs, president of JGR. "He's shown his capabilities all year in the Limited Late Model division and now he's doing the same in the more competitive Late Model division.

"We couldn't be more proud of what he's accomplished so far this year.""

Joe Gibbs Racing

Something tells me that McConaughey would fit in well here.

Re: Fellow Redskins Fan does good in NASCAR

Yeah no doubt...

I could see the two of them playing the bongos in the buff, stoned out of their minds.

Sorry for the visual.
