Not even Lombardi could go to another team and win again. Coach Gibbs returned after 12 years off and he is kicking ass. If he wins he should truly be considered one of, if not the greatest. Of course i am biased too, but that is OK! |

Re: Big Game Coaches
Joe Gibbs the Football Coach in only topped by Joe Gibbs the MAN.
Over the past 25 years Gibbs has been the main man of a sports franchise that had a legitimate shot at winning a championchip. Only a couple of times in his NFL Headcoaching career has his team been concidered an also ran, his 1st and last season the first time around and his first season of his return. In his 12 year hiatus from the NFL he ONLY built a Nascar team that is a title contender on a yearly basis. Joe Gibb's picture belongs next to the word WIN or WINNER in the Dictionary. In two seperate Sports Joe Gibbs found a way to win with ever changing parts and contended for a title almost every single year over a 25 year period of time. Mind Boggling IMO. Inspite of an almost unparalleled run of success in Sports Joe Gibbs has remained humble, always putting his team ahead of himself and has always remained true to himself, his team, his faith and his family. This is a truely AMAZING man and we as Skin's fan's should thank the Sports God's that we were chosen to be along for the ride. |
