Rate AMD's Draft
I just drafted a huge team (23 spots, took way too long) with work people and I want to know what people think. I got good sleepers, IMO. THis is the first time I've ever used individual defensive players, so I'd like to know how I did with them. One thing to consider, our commish made sacks/ints worth 5pts, so I went by that (rushing TDs are worth 7, for prespective).
So here they are, in order. I had the 5th pick out of 10 1. The Edge 2. L Jordan 3. Gates 4. H Ward 5. Houshmandzadeh 6. Dominic Davis 7. Delhomme 8. Deion Branch 9. Pittsburgers D 10. Freeney 11. Lee Evans 12. Drew Brees 13. T. Newman 14. Tatum Bell 15. Jacksonsville 16. Simeon Rice 17. Darren Sharper 18. Carlos Rogers 19. Vilma 20. Akers 21. Kellen Winslow (this is where I started to steal the draft) 22. Stokley 23. M. Pittman I think I need one good receiver and I'll be more than set. I have plenty of trade bait and there are some dumb people in the league.

You might want to get rid of ol' Deion Branch since he hasn't shown up to camp yet.

TMC, I'm already thinking that, maybe I can unload him on someone else.
Scheed, solo tackles are worth 2pts and assisted are worth 1, so that's why I got Vilma. I figure the D players can change week to week. This draft was really a joke. There are so many positions and bench spots that it was hard to choose.

On a scale of 1 to 724, I rate your draft a 3! Who taught you how to draft?
Just kidding, you did really good even if Edge has a decent year.

Re: Rate AMD's Draft
i would have taken a proven tiki barber over an unproven edge. I think you took hos-your-mama and branch too high too. RBs are solid. D players are also easier to find on waiver wire than O players since no one knows them. not sure rogers and newman were the best choices though, since guys like a henry and ty law will get more ints (even though they're worse and they'll get beat more). I don't know who picked what where though, so it's pretty hard to judge.
vilma was a real steal that late. if you get 1 point per reception, L jordan is a really good pickup too, not that he'd be bad otherwise. |
