Needless to say what a horrible day.
I remember being at work that day when someone said a plane just hit the WTC. I remember not thinking much about it, thinking it must have been a small commuter plane or something. Curiosity got the best of me and I went to a TV to see what was going on. Shortly after we all watched the 2nd plane hit. What a surreal moment. Then news came of the Pentagon being hit, and news that there were other jets in the air that were hijacked, and I remember thinking it was the end of the world. |
