What Philly fans have "prescribed" for T.O.

ESPN.com - NFL - Eagles beef up stadium security for T.O.'s return

Basically the fans in Philly are pissed, and apparently they are planning to throw bottles of prescription pills onto the field. The Eagles have said those who do so, will get kicked out of the game, and lose their season ticket. I doubt that will stop stupid Philly fans, look for orangle bottles flying onto the field.

Apparently they boost up security every game agaisnt NFC East teams, to protect the "visitors". Really? Then how come fans get beat up repeatedly at Philly.

At this pace, it sounds like the NFL will have to resort to doing what our pee wee league does to teams that have rude and discourteous fans: penalizing the team on the field for unsportmanslike conduct. In some cases the parents were even told to settle down or the referees would force a forfeit!

TO should have a good game, I really hope he stomps the Eagles secondary.

Off topic, but Rexi, you ought to know something about your sig. I couldn't find direct confirmation, but I knew this was out there. From the "A word a day" site :

From: Nicholas Wood (nickbeeATfuse.net)
Subject: Norman Einstein Quotation from AWAD, Feb 8, 2002:
Nobody in the game of football should be called a genius. A genius is somebody like Norman Einstein. -Joe Theismann, Former quarterback
This quote which is rightly attributed to Joe Theismann has an even more humorous explanation.
It turns out that Theismann went to high school with Norman Einstein and he was the class valedictorian. This was verified by Sports Illustrated some years back which ran Einstein's yearbook picture with the story.
So, when Theismann says, "He's no Norman Einstein", he means the same thing as we do when we say, "He's no Albert Einstein." How are we to know this? Well, apparently Joe Theismann is no Norman Einstein.
I searched for Theismann's high school (South River High School, New Jersey) but didn't find anything resembling a list of students from 1966 or 67, which is when JT would have graduated.

I found the high school name in his College Football Hall of Fame page (which references Theismann showing up to Notre Dame at 5'10, 147 pounds). The CFHoF page link is in his wikipedia entry, which, by the way, has a link to thewarpath.net, a site some of you may have heard of. It also has a link to youtube with the leg injury, but you couldn't pay me to watch that.

Thread hijack over.
