Kearse injured

Looks like he got a high ankle sprain. Don't know how serious it could be, but he did get carted off. This would really hurt the Eagles. I feel more badly for him though. The guy just can't seem to stay healthy.

That has been a major problem (injury bug) for him the last two years. As much as I would have liked to have had a healthy Kearse on the Redskins, I am glad we did not pay the huge dollar amount it would have taken to get him. He is not worth it when he misses as many games as he did last year two years (missed a total of 14 games in 2002 and 2003).

Hasn't he had ankle problems before?

High ankle sprains can be nasty.

I can't say I'm too upset over this news.

Yes, high ankle sprains take a while to heal. He'll probably be less than 100% throughout the entire season because of it.

Eagles medics say lateral sprain not high. Day to day in their words.

Don't bank on him being out more than 1 or 2 pre-season games if any, but hopefully it's a sign of things to come? Not wishing hurt on the guy, but he is an Eagle...

I wont wish hurt on him, but I wont cry when I read the news. Injuries can happy to anyone, but they definitly took a higher risk with him

Owens has been having some groin problems as well, nothing serious but something to keep an eye on.
