Re: Redskins v. Giants: Goat of the Week?
nah you know what?
the defense has been struggling, there are reasons for it, and everyone knew it coming in. but what's the offense's excuse? who's hurt? didn't we 'find our identity' last game? didn't we just add playmakers to the already productive team from last season?? our defense is hurting, no surprise. the offense needed to keep them off the field by completing some 3rd downs and sustaining some drives with all the 'upgrades' we did this offseason. this game was blown by the OFFENSE. the O-Line not only didn't protect Brunell, it also couldn't open up lanes for Portis. after pushing around Jacksonville's Dline?? absolutely unacceptable for this squad, and the biggest reason we lost this game.
