Theres nothing favorable about trailing inside a minute with no timeouts left inside your own 20. When the defense couldnt stop a rookie QB playing for the leagues worst team from getting 2 first downs, the game was in effect over. Veteran leadership does not mean miracle maker. In fact, quite the contrary. When Randle El was unable to give us good field position, I really did not expect to win the game. Brunell was picked off, but I don't really look at that as a worse outcome than time running out on us or a turnover on downs. Brunell went in and scored and added the 2 pt conversion to tie. The defense let them back into our territory where they eventually got a FG.
