the last few games teams have been throwing on rogers, not wright. he doesn't really suck, but he's not a #1, not at this point anyways. he's still a sure tackler (for a CB) and a good ST player, but yeah, for a top 10 pick, you'd hope he'd be further along by now.

i am gonna step out there and make a bold prediction. I see us going up there and beating the colts behind a huge cp day. If we line up to pound it we win....we have to run the ball to keep the colts offense off the the field. but on a side note more closer to reality than the skins beating the colts...if you have any colts on your fantasy team i think this is the week to start them.

I see our D getting shredded all day long. Springs, Rogers, Washington, Marshall, Griffin, and Salave'a are all injured. I just can't see our defense holding up long enough to allow us to utilize our running game.

At this point I will be SHOCKED if we win. The injuries are really starting to pile up. Rogers is out and Griffin and Salave'a are both likely to be out again. Our LBs are banged up and have been ineffective.

I'm praying for a miracle.

This is the NFL. Anything can happen on any day. The skins can win if they get really physical with the Colts because the colts dont like to play a physical game.

i don't know about you guys, but i view this as a positive. to be frank, rogers has been at best disappointing, yet he continues to start bc 1) he's very gifted athletically and 2) he was 9th overall (so we have to give him a shot). i believe that almost anyone can give the same type of cushion that rogers has been giving to opps. this year, so maybe this is a blessing in disguise? what if wright actually plays better in the spotlight? basically, i think this gives us a great opportunity to check out the backups, without rogers losing face...

Offensively I think we can bang on them, but defensively without our starting defensive tackles we're in big trouble. Golston and Montgomery will need to play the games of their lives.

35-3 prediction, huh?

SO because we're short on CBs, their defense will suddenly be able to stop the run?

Sure, that makes sense.

I still believe we have a great shot to win.

Re: Rogers out: Colts 35, Skins 3

the only way to win is if portis has more than 25 carries. We need to ride his back. to beat the colts portis is going to have to be the man. and throw some duckett in there and i see us giving the colts as much as they can handle. it all starts with controlling the ball and the clock. those gay screens and gimmick plays arent the answer. run, run some more, and run even more after that. the colts are soft on defense. even softer against the run.

Clinton Portis is our only hope Sunday. If we can control the clock by running, we take pressure off Brunell and keep our porous defense off the fake grass. Mix in Betts every once in a while, and the game might remain interesting late into the fourth quarter. Otherwise, we'll all be cursing our TVs very early on.
