Skins vs Panthers
I am a Skins fan living in the South, so I get all the "Panthers are so great news." That got me thinking about comparing the two teams.
Skins Panthers Edge Moss S. Smith Panthers (slight) Lloyd K. Johnson Skins Portis Foster Skins (big) Sellers Hoover Panthers Cooley Magnum Skins (big) Brunnel Delhomme Panthers (big) O-Line O-Line Skins (been together 2 years now) Passing D 24 17 Panthers Rushing D 17 19 Skins Gibbs Fox Even It appears that they are two evenly rated teams, yet Carolina is 4-2 and the Skins are 2-4. Why is this? Hate to say it but the main advantage for the Panthers appears to be QB. |

i do think that fox is a great coach, but to say there even is crazy. one's in the HOF and the other is not but other than that agree with you. First comes the colts though!!!!

Re: Skins vs Panthers
I don't know about hoover being any better than sellers. And I don't know that delhomme is all that great of a QB. He throws alot of jump balls, he has had the priveldge of throwing to a very talented recieving corps.
Having said that, ours isn't too shabby... we should be doing better than we are...

Re: Skins vs Panthers
Yeah I know Gibbs is a HOF but really I was comparing them based on his 2nd stint. But it was just a comparison to saw how far behind we are.

Re: Skins vs Panthers
Panthers 4-2 Skins 2-4 (edge panthers big).
What is the point of all of this? Why are we even being mentioned in the same breath as a winning team?

we're nothing alike except moss and smith are the same type of receiver. smith is clearly better though, and if you think lloyd is better than keyshawn, that's a joke. who's equivalent to julius peppers or their #2 DT (the one with the polynesian-ish name)? they have better corner depth too. It's the QB, the DL, circumstance, and the depth. i'm not really sure what the point of this is. the teams aren't really similar. |
