The preponderance of the evidence suggests that Gibbs and Williams are making the decisions on player personnel. Saying Snyder is making these decisions seems to lean on rumor and conjecture more than anything.
where did i say danny was pulling the strings? where did i say i knew for sure? please show me.

according to whats been posted, vinny does have a say and gibbs chooses the players. not gibbs and williams.

if it's gibbs, if it's vinny, they've got to be replaced with a real gm for personnel decisions. cause whoever is making the choices now sucks.

maybe that's all you need while you accept a loser. I rather see some results, and on the GM front, it's a disaster. "desmond howard has no weaknesses."

it's not a new thing.

I have said from day 1 we need a GM. Gibbs is a proven coach, but he did not build those teams in the 80s and 90s. I am a firm believer in building teams through the draft and adding a player or two to put yourself over the top. but I will always be a die hard Redskins fan. we all just have to live with the fact we build our teams a certain way. The coaches here have all had final say over player roster (except Turner) even spurrier got what he wanted.
Lets put the blame where it belongs, the locker room. Unmotivated players, stupid mistakes, bad play calling or game plans(whichever) Danny signs the checks,

Blaming Snyder is really a tired excuse that doesn't hold much merit anymore.
Matty, we are usually on the same page when it comes to Redskins related thoughts, but I got to disagree with you here. Snyder sets the overall tone for the organization and since he has bought the team that tone has been a lack of patience, focus and accountability. It trickles down from the very top and other than the year that Schottenheimer was here it's always been 'his' show.

As much as I revere Gibbs, he is still caught up in the Snyder atmosphere that surrounds the team. This offseason, as much as I hate to agree with the mediots, was classic Snyder. They went out and got parts they didn't need (Archuleta) or don't fit (Carter) and screwed up what was working on being a good thing. ARE is a solid contributor and I think Lloyd, if thrown the ball, will be as well but the other players have unquestionably HURT the team.

Brunell is all on Gibbs because you know if that were up to Snyder, Campbell would have been starting a long time ago, but our problems are bigger than the QB position. We have no identity, no depth, seemingly no plan on how we are going to approach a game and leave with a win. Relying on 'talent' gets you to 5-11 in the NFL. How that can not be traced back to Snyder, setting the tone, and Cerrato, who runs the scouting department, is lost on me.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman
