Even when he has protection he still holds onto the ball way too long and makes some really really dumb decisions. Also he didn't utilize the potential around him which Romo seems to be good at. I think Romo is a significant upgrade over Bledsoe.

We'll just have to disagree about Bledsoe. As for Romo, you may be right but I haven't seen enough of the guy to make a judgment. The history of the league is littered with examples of QBs who have looked good in a few games, only to tank.
