Garrard finds a way to win somehow, plus I think Del Rio likes that his athleticism opens up more opportunities. Leftwich is solid though, but from what I've heard he and Del Rio aren't seeing eye to eye right now

Remember, the Jaguars D played significantly better against Phili then they did against Houston a week ago. Garrard didn't win the Eagles game and Leftwich didnt' lose the Texans game. But I will agree that there seems to be a very small difference between offensive performance with Garrard and with Leftwich.

IMO, its all about the coach's preference. Leftwich would never have been able to run for that critical first down at the end of the game, and Garrard can't complete passes in traffic like Byron can.
