Madden Curse.
How many of you believe in this. Personally I think Ray Ray is in some trouble this year.

I believe in this also, and if you look at who is on the covers of the sega 2k series it is the same there. I am not sure who is on 2k1 but,
2k2 - Randy Moss 2k3 - Brian Urlacker 2k4 - Warren Sapp Now I know these players did not suffer season ending injuries when they dawned the covers but there play on the field droped dramaiticly(sp) from the season before. Luckily for us this year its none other than TERREL OWENS!!! I hope that this trend still works for our sake.

SK1 was LT I think.
That Guy - Vick was doing what Vick ALWAYS does, scrambles. Does that mean when Ray Lewis blasts through a Guard to get to the RB and his knee gets clipped and sidelines him for the season he deserves it? Not to mention, this curse has happened every single year of Madden's existance. |

Actually up untill Madden 2000 or 2001, I can not remember, Madden himself was always on the cover. In 2000 or 2001, which ever year it was, Eddie Geroge was the first player on the cover.

daseal, i know that's what vick always does, but QBs aren't built like LBs, and tend to end up at the bottom of more piles AND get hit from behind more, hence a higher rate of injury...

The Madden curse will never be as powerful as "The curse of the Bambino"!

if there is any player that it would be broken on, it would be Ray Lewis. I just wish that with the curse in tack Donovan McNabb would get on the cover.
Oh well, wishful thinking.

if mcnabb gets the cover it means he did well the year before, we dotn want that. Im scared that Portis is going to get one of these covers soon.
