it WAS "ill-advised" hehe. ideally, we want a QB who can squeeze the ball into tight spaces, and Brunell has been avoiding those types of passes all year. while it's obvious Brunell isn't remotely the gunslinger best suited to this (not by a longshot), it was good to see him try these and take the chances we need to win the game with our busted defense.

more passes in the middle, more passes downfield = greater INT risk. that's just the game.

if you don't want INTs, then you want Brunell's regular checkdowns, dinks, dunks, and short yardage sideline darts.
