Is Coles OK?

I saw him limping after that hit over the middle, and saw him limp towards the locker room at half time. Anyone know if he's OK? I was at a party trying to make people be quiet so I could watch the game!

He had a bruised shin, from an initial hit he took, from what I have heard ( Couldnt get the game here). While I'm sure a bruised shin hurts, its less serious than what it could b.e

Yes I noticed Coles getting up gingerly too, then limping to the locker room at halftime.

Jeff Bostic brought up a great point during the telecast though. This is the time of year when players' bodies are adjusting to the incredible physical demands of the season after a long layoff. It's not uncommon for players to be sore, banged up, and less than 100%. Give it time, and gradually, players will be loose and ready for the season.

If it were up to me though, Coles would play one series per preseason game, and that's it. Concentrate on conditioning and practice reps, and be completely fresh for the Buccaneers.

No, you've got to get the WRs in synch with the QBs in the new offense. Coles is a tough pro, and he'll be ok. I'm more worried about his toe, but if it's just a shin bruise, no problem.

I think that the preseason is about right, any shorter and it would affect the quality of the regular season.
