Re: Cutting Archuleta & The Salary Cap

I think Archuletta will improve next year. No way he is really this bad. Nobody on our D is really playing well. There is no point in cutting him. Even if he doesn't play much next year, which I don't think will happen, I'd rather have a good backup for $1.5 million or w/e than nobody for like $8 million.

I say suck it up and find a way to use him. If Williams truly is a genius he should be able to turn chicken sh!t into chicken salad. Archuletta has skills, he can tackle and is very fast. There has to be a role for him.

There is nothing worse than cutting a guy, continuing to pay him and then he lines up against you.

It's the same thing I was thinking (more or less) when I read that initial post. But best to ignore the post and not acknowledge his existence here. He's just here to troll, he'll go away soon

the more i think about this along with AA heading to the chopping block...how about andre carter? is it too soon to call him a bust? better yet when will the skins wake up and realize he (AC) is playing out of position. again as i have posted in the past...AC needs to play linebacker. If Ellis for the boys can convert so can AC

Re: Cutting Archuleta & The Salary Cap

I know he is stinking it up this year, but lets give the guy a chance. He has a lot of tools, speed , size , can tackle very well. and the guys works really hard. he was rushed in here, given the keys and really didn't have any idea of what to do. I think during the offseason, another preseason, he will be just fine. This time next year everyone will be talking about us having the best safety tandem in the league.
