i hope to god we don't get vandy. Doesn't seem to handle pressure well, which is what washington would bring...more pressure

Re: Skins sign kicker Shaun Suisham
Anyone remember Mackey Sasser, catcher for the Mets back in the late 80s/early 90s? He went through that mental block too, couldn't get the throw back to the pitcher.

Remember that kid Joe Crisp? His posts on this board were coherent, on the money, made you think. Suddenly he starts going off topic, rambling about all sorts of things, spelling errors here, typos there. What a fall from grace.

It's better to burn out than fade away I guess.

Re: Skins sign kicker Shaun Suisham
Boswell's article today is cursing us out for not going after Vandy:
Thomas Boswell - Who You Calling An Idiot? - washingtonpost.com Personally I agree and think we should give Vandy a shot. What do we have to lose? He could be a huge steal and if not we cut him. It's not like we're averse to deadcap. PS - I also think we should bring back JoeCrisp. I think he's still got something left in the tank. |

Yeah, it was sad. I hear he is doing pornos in Vegas and working on a new stage act called "The Aristocrats".

I really dont' think Vandy is healthy. I heard a report that he's thinking about returning to Canada, and not kicking anymore this year. Maybe if our kicking game does not improve over the next five games, and no one claims him before we get the opportunity, we'll consider signing him for next season. I still think he can be an effective kucker once he's healthy again.
